La Garonne
Created by Rory Caviness, Chief Bartender at La Voile Restaurant in Boston

Ingredients:
- 1 oz. Du Peyrat Organic Cognac
- 3/4 oz. Normandin-Mercier Pineau des Charentes
- 1 small slice of ginger
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1/2 oz. plus 1 tsp. simple syrup
- 2 lime slices
Instructions:
Muddle ingredients in a mixing glass. Shake everything over ice to chill, then add 1 1/2 oz soda. Fine strain everything into a Collins glass with fresh ice. Garnish with one dash of Regan's Orange Bitters and a lime twist. Santé!
